Welcome to Samos Windsurf & Bike Centre!

The Greek island of Samos forms part of the North-Eastern Aegean Islands and the location is famous for its reliable Summer winds. Samos windsurf centre is ideally located in the beautiful town of Kokkari on the North side of the island which enjoys clean, cross-onshore winds ensuring safety for all ability levels. The general pattern is lighter winds in the mornings to suit children and beginners with the wind building early afternoon onwards for intermediate and advanced sailors.

Samos windsurf centre was hand-built by the owner George Sankantaris in 2000 and is a friendly, relaxed and fun place to enjoy your holiday. The centre offers 110 Fanatic boards and 90 North sails including the latest 2010 equipment in addition to a range of wetsuits, harnesses, shoes and gloves to ensure you are fully-equipped.

We have a comprehensive teaching programme run by sponsored sailor Rob Horne who has over 20 years experience at the largest windsurf centres in the world. As of Summer 2010 Beginner and Advanced Beginner lessons will be held in a sheltered flat-water bay while Intermediate and Advanced lessons including Freestyle are held in the open-sea. All lessons include both theory and practical teaching in the language of your choice. Our team speak English, German, French, Italian and Greek and are very experienced within the windsurf industry.
